The first is a fun, half-day guided tour of some of South Shore’s most iconic landmarks and natural wonders. Starting with a morning drive to the majestic Waimea Canyon (nicknamed the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific”) on the southwest side of the island, you’ll have the opportunity to explore coastline, waterfalls, State Park hiking trails, coffee estates, monk seal resting spots, sea turtle beaches, and more—all on an adventure that’s customized to your interests. With experienced guides by your side, excited to show you the best sights and answer your Kauai questions, you’ll immerse yourselves in the wonders of the island, and learn more about the culture, history, and geology of the area.

Your second included excursion takes you onto the water for a fantastic full-day snorkeling trip along the stunning Nāpali Coast to the nearby island of Niihau. Led by an experienced captain and crew aboard a sleek 65’ catamaran, this seven-hour adventure includes a sunrise breakfast, gourmet on-board lunch, cold drinks throughout the day, and plenty of time to snorkel in the clear blue water around the famed Lehua Crater—where native fish, monk seals, manta rays, and underwater lava cathedrals are common. Snorkel gear and basic instruction is provided, and there’s space to relax onboard and soak up the sun when you need a break. Post-snorkel, you’ll cruise back to Kauai with memories of an incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience. 

In between the scheduled activities, you’ll have plenty of free time to enjoy more of the island on your own. Tee off at one of Kauai’s scenic, championship golf courses. Take a walk on Shipwreck Beach. Hike the Maha’ulepu Heritage Trail. Visit one of the island’s historic sites—Kāhua O Kāneiolouma, the Makauwahi Cave Reserve, or the Old Koloa Sugar Mill. Go for a thrilling ride on a traditional Hawaiian outrigger canoe. Or simply explore the shops at Poipu Village or Old Kōloa Town.
