To get you started, we’ve arranged for you to enjoy a private, two-hour photo hike with an experienced photography guide. Get off the beaten path to explore some of the area’s best—and most photogenic—trails and learn more about the area, while your guide answers questions and takes creative action shots of you along the way. Trekking poles are provided, and the hike is customizable based on your interests.

You can continue your outdoor adventuring with a 2.4-mile scenic gondola ride to the top of the mountain at the nearby Heavenly Resort. We've included a set of passes for the gondola to use on a day of your choice during your stay, and it’s definitely an experience you won’t want to miss. With picture-perfect panoramic views of the lake below, you can explore the many trails at the top, take in the sights from Heavenly’s Observation Deck, visit the Tamarack Lodge for a quick lunch or grab-and-go snacks, or ride the Ridge Rider Mountain Coaster. The six trails here range from easy to moderate and are clearly marked, with Martin’s Peak being the shortest and Silver Rush being the most strenuous. Whichever trail you choose, it’s easy to spend a day on the mountain, having fun and enjoying the fresh air and gorgeous vistas.

To balance out days on the mountain, we know you’ll also want to spend time on the lake, so we’ve arranged for you to take a two-hour cruise to glacier-carved Emerald Bay onboard an 80-foot luxury motor yacht. As you glide across the water, you’ll have views of Vikingsholm Castle, Eagle Falls, the famous Tea House on Fannette Island, and more, while learning about the lake and surrounding area from your captain.
